How to Conquer Floral this Summer (Brought to you by Gucci)
Hey guys! I really liked my previous summer mood board post, so I thought this week I'll do something similar, but focus on one popular aspect of the season - floral. Whenever springtime comes around, there's no way to avoid floral somewhere in your closet. All my minimal lovers, embrace the colours and join the bright side! I personally LOVE floral things, because they always bring you so much positive vibes. And today, I'm going to show you a few ways to work some subtle florals into your summer looks!
Beginners: Start Small
The easiest way, and possibly the cheapest, is the work floral into your outfits via accessories. Start with your trusty little black dress, and then throw on some floral (and pastel! SO on trend) pumps. Pick out a cute embellished clutch and dusty pink lippie to match, and you're good to go.
Advanced: Go Boho
Ready to party, festival-style? Go Boho with some tribal accessories, clogs/mules/platform shoes, flared pants and of course, a floral bustier and a swipe of red lipstick. Floral crowns are optional but highly recommended!
Next Level: Go All Out
Going out for a wedding or summer party? Overall floral is actually very easy to manage as long as you keep the accessories to a minimal. This piece keeps it updated with the strapless neckline, and you can use nude accessories and make-up to bring your look to the next level.
One extra thing...
No look is complete without a scent, and there's no better reason to spray on some floral scent than to match your outfit and mood. A classic fave - Gucci's Flora Fragrance just launched their limited edition Anniversary Edition. The special edition of the original scent blends notes of Rose, Osmanthus and Peony to create a scent that's feminine but also modern. And how gorgeous is the bottle?!
