Why I'm changing my feelings towards Coach

Spring is definitely here already, and even though the weather is still ambivalent, it's no harm to start looking for new seasonal staples. I was recently invited to check out COACH's latest SS15 collection, and I must say, my old impression for the brand has completely been revamped. To be very honestly, Coach used to strike me as a brand that's old, with a little bit too much monogramming and usually not very inspiring. However, recently with the new Creative Director Stuart Vevers' arrival, I think Coach has gotten the revival it's been needing to keep up with the young and the trends. Don't believe me? Check out their collection below!Coach SS15 collectionCoach SS15 collectionCoach SS15 collectionCoach SS15 collectionCoach SS15 collectionCoach SS15 collectionCoach SS15 collectionCoach SS15 collectionCoach SS15 collectionCoach SS15 collectionCoach SS15 collectionCoach SS15 collectionCoach SS15 collectionCoach SS15 collectionThe items in this collection are colourful, happy and a little cheeky. With Gary Baseman's illustrations, the collection was injected with energy, and you can totally see fashionistas around town with sunglasses on, a furry pastel jacket draped around their shoulders and strolling in metallic blue mules. And my oh my, that leopard print...Accessories wise I am definitely smitten with their basic but bright everyday bags that aren't too big, but big enough to fit everything a girl would need into it, (i.e. charger, phone, long wallet, tissues, headphones etc etc., the list goes on...) The happy colours are perfect for brightening up your outfits, and easy enough to go with most items without overpowering them.IMG_0040_2

See, even with print on print the bag worked out pretty well, and I pretty much almost wanted to run away with it.Point is, Coach definitely impressed with their young prints, bright colours and versatile items, especially with its comparably affordable prices. Now, I am definitely moving Coach towards, or even on the same, level as Kate Spade or Michael Kors (might be forgetting a couple more). Basically brands that are considered designer, but still affordable and young enough for girls in their early twenties to rock with other trends.

Thoughts? Till next time,xx
