Exploring the world of Grana
Hey guys! As you know, I'm not your usual Asian "free-sized" (read: not actual free-size but in actuality xxs made for delicate girls) so it's quite hard for me to find clothes that actually fit me and is well-made. Of course, you've got your fast fashion treasure chests, but once in a while a girl might want to splurge on basics that are timeless both in style and durability. In comes GRANA, a brand that has in recent years made a name for itself for reasonably priced basics that are made with high-quality fabrics. But as with all online/start-up brands, people are usually skeptical until they can touch and feel the stuff. That's why this #basicbitch was so happy to discover they've opened up their pop-up - The Fitting Room.

Well what does that mean you ask? How is that revolutionary? Much like ZALORA's pop-up, you actually don't pick up your shopping, but get it delivered to your door instead. You treat the pop-up exactly like a fitting room - you touch and feel and try on as many things as you want, and then order your stuff online and wait for it to arrive later.Trust me, their stuff really feels amazing on the skin. I'm especially smitten with their Chinese silk, which feels super delicate, but matte enough for it to be casual. For winter, you can also check out their Mongolian Cashmere collection. You can basically build your entire minimal wardrobe from their stuff, since that's all the rage now. By sourcing the fabrics directly from the beginning of the chain, they can reduce the mark-up compared to fast fashion companies, and that's why they're so comparably affordable when you're purchasing luxurious fabrics like silk, cashmere and Merino wool.Anyway, enough of me trying to sound like an advertisement. Go drop by when you have the time! Their store is also super photogenic (and right next to Grassroot Pantry hehehe). If you're in CWB though, head to their other pop-up on Pak Sha Road!
Meanwhile, hope you've been well.
Amazing photography as usual by none other than Gabrielle Salonga Photography, duh!
Till next time,xx
