Hi, I’m Karen.

YOGA & MAT PILATES TEACHER
MINDFULNESS EXPERIENCE FACILITATOR

I have been exploring fitness and well-being since 2015, and writing about my journey via my blog for almost a decade.

My journey into well-being and self-empowerment led me to complete several trainings in anatomy, mobility, strength training, pilates and yoga. I felt compelled to share the fruits I’ve reaped from mindfulness and movement, and thus began my group teaching career in 2023.

My classes are challenging, but also joyful and calm. I teach uncomplicated sequences in a slow, alignment-based flow, always incorporating meditation and a savoured savasana.

I teach: Yogalates, Mat Pilates, Slow flow, Yin Yang, Mobility & Core, Meditation & Mindfulness.

It would be my pleasure to share space with you and support your journey. I’m available for group classes, private 1-to-1 trainings, corporate sessions and tailored retreats.

I typically prefer to incorporate a blend of yoga, mat pilates and body-weight exercises which requires little or no props. My teaching style is welcoming, inclusive, and considerate of all fitness levels.

I am also experienced in creating wellness experiences that features journaling, meditation, and creative exercises like art or narrating. Though I personally align with spiritual and buddhist values, my sessions are never religious.

  • We will work together to create a training style that suits your goals, fitness level and interests. We can train in the privacy of your home or in a studio.

  • In the office setting, I can lead your team through a combination of mindfulness exercises and feel-good movement.

    I can customize the experience base on the team’s needs and fitness levels.

  • I’m experienced with tailoring indoor or outdoor retreats, featuring elements of mindfulness or meditation, journaling, movement and other creative non-clinical therapy modalities such as drawing and narrative practice.

    I work with tools like OH cards, Intuitive Solutions, and journals by my own design.

  • I’d love to connect with other wellness entrepreneurs or brands and see what kind of magic we can create.
